Qtopia includes a multimedia framework for applications that playback Music and Videos. Features include play lists, plug-ins and control widgets, with currently supported plug-in types including audio effects and visualizations.
The reference integration of the Helix DNA codec library is provided with Qtopia supports multimedia codecs such as: AMR-NB and AMR-WB,WAV,H.263,MPEG4,AAC and aacPlus, MP3, RealAudio and RealVideo. Helix DNA also supports development for various file system, file format and datatype plug-ins. Simplified APIs provide simple playback interfaces and avoid the requirement to call into Helix DNA directly.
